What is a positive mindset.
  • You have listen many time that your mindset is so negative or that you have to create a positive mindset, so our today's topic is what is a positive mindset?  And the answer to this question is that mindset is a set of assumptions , methods, or decisions we take in the time of  difficulties...or in easy language mindset helps us to take decision when the time is not in our favour. A positive mindset can make a depressed man positive.

   THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF     MINDSET

  • GROWTH MINDSET
  • FIXED MINDSET
 
Now what is GROWTH MINDSET.

People having growth mindset having thoughts like that

  • "Failure is an opportunity to grow" I will grow after failure.
  • "I can learn to do anything I want"
  • "Challenges help me to grow"
  • "My effort and attitude determines my ability"
  • "I like to try new things"
On the other hand people with fixed mindset have thoughts like -
  • "Failure is the limit of my ability" now I can't grow again I have to quit.
  • "I am either good ata thing or not that's it"
  • "I don't like to challenged"
  • "When I am frustrated I give up"
  • "I stick to what I know" 
Let us take an example of a student. Students with fixed mindset believe that their basic abilities, intelligence and talent are genetic traits that cant be changed but the student with growing mindset know that their basic ability, intelligence and IQ can be changed by learning new things exploring new facts.

Now after reading the above points you are able to distinguish between what type of mindset you have. Is it positive means growing mindset or negative means fixed mindset. 

A person is recognised by their mindset you prefer people having mindset similar to you and you are the sum of the 5 people with whom you spent your most of the time. So, if you want to change your mindset from failure to success change your group amd stay with the people you like to be.


Now there is a third type of mindset known as BENEFIT MINDSET.

People with the benefit mindset have a different way of seeing thing they saw thing in a way that the things are benefiting them or not and these are not short term benefit they saw things in a long term benefit. 

Now a question arise in your mind what is short term benefit or long term benefit.

Short term benefit

The short term benefits give a small amount of benefit like when you are studying a day before exam just to pass it. They just benefit you a little. But you can get it quickly. 

Long term benefits 

Long term benefit are those which dont give you quick result. Thy take investment of time to give you a proper result it is impossible to gain weight or to top in exam by studying a few days before exam. To gain weighy we have to workout daily make it a part of our routine same with study if you wanna top in exams you have to start study everyday.

Now how to make new habits or  New  routine? 

So the answer to this question is is so simple you just have to do "3" things to make a new habit.
  •  Make it easy.

Now how to make a thing? You just have to make less effort in doing so. Example-- if you want to start a habit of mornimg running you just have to pit your running dress near your alarm clock so that when you wake up it become easy to get ready for running. changes that seem small and unimportant at first will compound into remarkable results if you’re willing to stick with them for years. 


  • Create an environment.

Now what does it mean by creating an environment? You have seen many times is a man is walking on a empty road at night he suddenly start walking fast but in morning time on the same road he walks normally because of the environment. In 1936, psychologist Kurt Lewin wrote a simple equation that makes a powerful statement: Behavior is a function of the Person in their Environment, or B = f (P,E). So when you want to do somethimg create an environmemt according to it if you want to study put your books in front of you.

  • Make it attractive.
Now how to make a thing attractive? You just have to attach it with your favourite work You’re more likely to find a behavior attractive if you get to do one of your favorite things at the same time. The “more probable behaviors will reinforce less probable behaviors. You can use this trick to make a thing artractive.-

After [CURRENT HABIT], I will [HABIT I NEED]. 
After [HABIT I NEED], I will [HABIT I WANT].

This trick can be used to trick your mind to start a new habit.

These 3 laws can change your habits or help you to create a new habit.
